Today, I am extremely proud of my brother.
He wasn’t able to have a full-blown bar mitzvah like I had a bat mitzvah (to be honest, the pressure can be enormous, and his dyslexia made Hebrew incredibly hard for him where it wasn’t for me), but he still got up on the bimah, read from the Torah, said his prayers, and did it all as best he could.
